At Alto Sax, you can enjoy a relaxing sensual and soothing tantric massage given by John, (pictured above in his tantric trousers!), a male masseur and the owner of Alto Sax centre and spa, who is qualified in Swedish massage and a practitioner and teacher of tantric sexuality and tantric massage. Four handed massages with John and Tara are available to couples and women only in a safe environment. With a couples session this can culminate, if you so wish, with the expereince of tantric lovemaking in the clasic yab yum position. This ancient ritual was practised widely in Tibet and Nepal centuries ago and is a part of advanced tantra techniques.

We also offer classes, demonstrating the techniques of tantric, lingham and yoni massage. Tantric massage for individuals and couples

Tantric massage for women catalyses and enables a woman to access her sacred sexuality and to be fully in touch with her femininity. As she allows herself to open up, sexual and sensual energies are awakened, perhaps in away that she has never experienced before. Tantric massage, combined with tantric breathing allows a woman to bypass her internal chatter, which may relate to feelings of guilt, shame, or to perceptions of poor body image (even if she has, from a conventional sense, a perfect body) and move to a level where she experiences deep relaxation and sensuality.

With Tantra, her sexual energy also blossoms and becomes free flowing resulting in wonderful blissful states of being. This is a time when great healing can occur and where a women can, if she allows herself, to be able to enter orgasmic states of being that are prolonged, full bodied and are full of creative energy. In this heightened state, she can with the help of yoni massage, emit free flowing juices, referred to as amrita in tantra and find herself bathed in warmth and radiating energy that connects her with the divine.

The immediate after effects of this are improved self confidence, a feeling of a deeper connection with nature, with her self and her sex and will often have a transformational effect when she goes back into her daily life. Tantric Massage for Couples

As couples begin to experience tantra and tantric massage, their orgasmic experience becomes deeper, reaching out and melting into their bodies as they merge into one. Samatha Tantra

This is a new approach to the development of tantra and neo tantric sex techniques. The inspiration for this work started when I was a student of Samatha meditation, a Buddhist meditation practise over twenty years ago.

Samatha practise primarily focuses on the development of inner peace and tranquillity. In Buddhist mediation, this is generally a type of practice that is used to form a solid foundation in “mindfulness” where the mind is still and calm but still retains awareness of our thoughts, emotions, our physical body and the surroundings. Once a degree of samatha is established, then Buddhists move on to the study of Vipassana - insight meditation, where one explores our thoughts and karmic experiences and uses this as a path to enlightenment.

Samatha practise alone, is unusual but when practised diligently, never the less creates insight and vipassana. After several years of intense practise together with the study of the Alexander technique I established a firm mediation practise where I was relaxed and in a calm state of mind all day. This calmness even extended into my dream states and I began to experience lucid dreams. This is where, once you are in a dream state, you become aware that you are dreaming and can control and have fun with your dreams. I later learned that this is a common experience of Tibetan Buddhist monks in Tibetan monasteries. It was also a time when I entered different Jhana states where the mind become so concentrated and still that the ego drops away and the mind just sits in equanimity. I also had calling signs appear or nimittas which again are a sign of deep mediation practise.

During this time I experienced profound changes in my sex life. I became so sensual throughout my body and I could have orgasms that were full bodied, not just centred in the genital area. They effectively became an extension of my meditation practise; - No craving for orgasm but just experiencing orgasms when my mind and body were in total peace.

As I explored this further I noticed that the orgasm swept all through my body and enhanced my already calm state. It produced a feeling of euphoria and equanimity. My whole body infused a warm glow and the effect was profoundly self nurturing. The orgasms were powerful and intense,
but also so soft and gentle and lasted along time and my partner felt it to. Even though she was not a meditator, she could feel my energy and enter into a totally relaxed orgasm herself.

Experiencing lovemaking in this way produces blissful states of sensuality and intimacy and also has a profound healing experience that was quite different to conventiional tantric sex orgasms.

I then went on to learn more about tantra and tantric sex and also trained with a number of teachers. The results are that I have now developed a new own form of tantra that emphasises non attachment, total calmness, total relaxation when experiencing sex and to be totally present in the "here and now".

The moment to moment experience of sexual orgasm in this way is so gentle, but powerful and profound and combined with mindfulness is a unique experience which builds intimacy with our selves and others and creates inner peace, aliveness, self confidence and a natural extension of our empathy and compassion towards others.

I also use other techniques to encourage body and mind awareness including sexual tai chi, neo tantra techniques, dancing, tantric massage, music, drumming, chanting and others to help access a meditative state and to work with our sexual energy as a transformational tool.

Tantra & Massage

When combined with one of our tantra sessions, the massage session becomes much more sensual and the body will often twitch from involuntary non orgasmic muscle spasms (known as streamlining in tantra) and from special breathing techniques that are taught during these sessions. You will find that these sessions will have a dramatic “knock on” effect to your lovemaking and sex life by increasing sexual confidence, sexual energy and sensuality particularly in areas of the body that were probably unknown to you as sacred spots of tantric sexuality including yoni and lingham massage spots.

The process begins with a 15 minute telephone discussion to provide a background to the massage and any questions you may have. Once you decide to book, on arrival you are asked to fill in a questionaire to help clarify your needs and to establish and respect your boundaries. There is also the opportunity to talk with further with John about your relationship and what you hope to achieve from the session and to also help you relax and feel comfortable about the whole process. The session consists of around a 30 minute consultation including instruction on tantric breathing techniques plus 50 minutes for the actual tantric massage. This usualy includes music, sounds (didg, bongoes, Tibetan bells, saxophone, etc..,), specific tantric massage techniques and tantric breathing under subdued lighting or out on the patio if the sun is out, overlooking the swimming pool and lake. The tantric massage is offered in two forms: - non sexual or sexual. A more in depth session lasting three hours costs �360 / �490 (for a day) / �650 (weekend including accommodation, food & free wine in the evenings) with both John & Tara (for couples or Women only) and includes tantric breathing, sensualisation excersises to create a blissful experiences and ancient tantric technques for raising and experimenting with sexual energy. Massage is one of the quickest and best ways to induce feelings of deep relaxation and stress release. Deeply therapeutic and holistic, massage has been shown to help lymphatic drainage, to induce feelings of inner calm and peace and to strengthen the immune system. I qualified in Swedish massage and with my own practice of meditation and a background in tantra & counselling, I bring an added dimension to the massages I give. By giving massage I am also giving a part of myself, my own inner peace, my healing energy to another person, which I personally find deeply therapeutic.

Massage combined with high quality massage oils, relaxing music, candles and natural fragrances creates a perfect ritual in which one can just let go of the stress and emotions and sink into a feeling of blissful wonderland!

I prefer to give naturist massages as the client is unencumbered by clothing and it makes the massage easier, but I am aware that some people are very self conscious of their bodies or are embarrassed abut being naked or would just rather be partially clothed. This is fine and if you prefer, the massage can also be done under subdued light or even darkness!
