We are looking for short and long term community workers / wwoofer's to help with running Alto Sax Retreat Centre. We are a unique naturist and spiritual retreat centre based in Essex, UK, near Stansted Airport (not on the flight path and very peaceful), that offer weekend & daily workshops and overnights stays to guests interested in learning about tantra, spirituality, naturism and other spritual based practises.
In return for help at our centre we provide experience in working at a retreat centre, and provide food and accommodation. You can also explore, in a safe environment, tantra & sacred sexuality by taking in part in our ongoing work at the centre in a variety of ways such as ongoing personnal development and attending workshops.
The centre is based on 300 acres of land in a 16th century manor house with a 40 foot swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court and private lake. Accommodation is a mixture of double and single rooms, dormitory space and a caravan in the warmer months, and possible camping. We are around 1 hour from London by train. 20 minutes by car from Stansted Airport and 1 hour from Cambridge. For local nightlife, Colchester and Chelmsford are nearby (aproximatley 1/2 hours drive).

The skills we are looking for are as follows:
* General labouring skills - gardening, help with decorating outbuildings, general carpentry skills, house cleaning, ironing, etc.
* Help with preparing meals for the centre.
* Help with the web site and internet marketing.
* Assistance in booking workshops and hospitality to guests - (Guests are mainly couples).
* Help with participation at workshops - e.g., partnering up /for demonstration purposes for tantra and massage workshops.
* If you are a musician or a DJ, you can help with our dance parties and musical / drumming workshops.
* Experience in therapies such as massage, tantra and other healing therapies.
Working hours are 6 hours per day (Mon - Friday), although you will be expected to work some weekends or longer hours (from time to time) when we are busy.
You must be comfortable in working in naturist environment and be prepared to be naked at least while guests are around. Also an active interest in spirituality especially meditation and tantra would be advantageous.
We are looking for a minimum of 1 months commitment although people looking to just help when we have workshops will also be considered, if they are non residential.
